I love the Mediteranean look and feel of these candle holders, but the dimple in the top is a little too large for most candles. Common taper candlesticks are too small in diameter and it took me a while to find the type with the thicker, serrated bottom, but even those don't fit securely and have to be jammed in. You could use 2" diameter pillar candles safely but I bought them specifically for candlesticks.

As candle holders, I'd like to give them 5 stars because they're exactly the look I wanted and look great on my table. But as hard as it has been for me to find candles that will fit securely, I'm not sure what kind of candles they're designed for and because of that I can only say that I "like" them.
