I bought this for the country house where we collect bird houses and cuckoo clocks. This clock is decently made and the design and colors are very charming. This isn't one of those authentic-looking expensive cuckoo clocks (if you know about these, you know you can spend $$$ thousands on the genuine thing). So, if you know what you are getting, you will not be disappointed. We will be putting this in a child's bedroom due to it's size. It is approximately the dimensions of a half a sheet of regular paper. Very cute, though. I recommend this for small areas needing a little added color.
