Chaney Instruments 18-Inch Vintage Port Wine Wall Clock

Comment: I shopped all over locally for a clock to replace the one in my living room that finally died after many years of service. I visited the usual suspects and found NOTHING I even remotely liked and the ones I did like had broken hands, etc. So I did what I should have done in the first place - went to Amazon! Since the clock it was replacing was a staple in our home and we were going crazy looking at it and then remembering it no longer worked, I was in a hurry to get this clock in the house and hung up on the wall. I tried the "get it by tomorrow" option and was EXTREMELY skeptical because "tomorrow" was a Saturday. Not only did it arrive on time, but it was packaged with true loving care (by both the manufacturer and Amazon.com). I've been timing it to the minute and it is keeping perfect time and looks absolutely stunning in the place where the old, broken clock used to be. I love the fact that the hands are protected by a clear plastic face. I am posting this review because I know I read these reviews when making a decision, so I hope it helps. I also can't believe the price was so low! If you're going for this look, you won't be disappointed.

Comment: Previously bought a $20 clock that I liked from a local store and it couldn't keep the correct time. After I returned it, I found this one. It arrived quickly and has a beautiful, old world design. It keeps excellent time. Worth the extra $10!!!

Comment: You're considering buying this clock because it looks great, not because of its quality. Definitely made of cheap material, and I'm curious how long it will last. But it LOOKS great, very classy. 18-Inches is pretty big, so make sure you have the space. Print might look a little cheezy super up close since it's obviously a print and not an actual vintage clock... but who really is going to stand 6 inches from it. Definitely an attractive piece on my wall. Overall 4 stars, good purchase. The perfect "I want to look like I'm a baller" clock. Exactly what I was hoping for, until I can afford the real deal... ;)

Comment: After searching for clocks and reading other reviews, we took a chance and ordered this clock. The error in the Roman numeral is a conversation piece. The clock is the perfect size, lightweight, and looks much more expensive than it is. It isn't wood, but it's located in a spot that prevents close inspection. We're very satisfied with it.

Comment: The clock looks nice, and is quite rustic. After hanging it up and looking at it, I noticed that the roman numeral for 4 is wrong. They have IIII vs IV. Other than that, it tells the time, and fits the decor.
