Chaney Instruments Pink Petals Wall Clock

Comment: We actually purchased this because other reviewers said it ticks too loudly. There is something soothing to me about the ticking of a clock. It turned out that this clock doesn't tick. It makes a thwacking sound that is fairly annoying. That aside, it is cheerful, cute, fun to look at, nice with our decor. We were willing to keep it until it stopped working and needed to be taken off the wall daily for fussing with. Eventually, it did keep running but lost about an hour a day. So, into the trash.
We had ordered two of these from Amazon. They were tossed into a box with absolutely no packaging. There is none from the manufacturer, and Amazon didn't add any. The face of one of the clocks was so badly scratched that we sent it back. The other one went into the trash by the end of the week.

Comment: This is a very cute clock. It looks great in my daughter's (she's almost 4) newly painted pink bedroom. You can hear the tick tock sound but it doesn't bother me and it doesn't seem to bother my daughter either. You really have to be listening for it to even notice.

Comment: I bought this for my daughter's room. I was looking for something pink or purple and this just was perfect. It is not the greatest quality on earth, but it's very cute.
It came with a scratch on the front, and after contacting Amazon, I received my replacement clock the next day, as Amazon shipped it express. I only had to put the bad one in the box and ship it back with a label they provided.
You gotta love Amazon for standing behind their products and their great customer service.

Comment: I bought this clock for my daughter's nursery. It's super cute, but the ticking is extremely loud. I don't think it'll be a problem for the baby, but could see the ticking disturbing small children or adults.

Comment: The clock looks nice enough for the price, but I found it too loud for my tastes. It doesn't bother my two daughters but both my wife and I find it very noticeable when the house is quiet.

Unfortunately the packaging is not very protective and the face of the clock is left open. I ordered two of these clocks and they both ended up with some superficial hazing on their faces from moving around even though the shipping box was packed well. It doesn't affect reading the clock at all, but its a noticeable blemish.

Overall they're OK for the money and I haven't found a comparable design that I think my daughters would like.

Edit: In the end the clock was too loud at night and we ended up giving these away.
