This clock is adorable. The details in its design are cute and artful; there's a lot going on with all of the acorns, mushrooms, etc., but it's not too ornate as to be gaudy. The bird doesn't pop out of the doors as on a regular cuckoo clock. Instead, it's attached to the swinging pendulum, so it moves back and forth in its window. As the pendulum swings, both birds move in opposite directions, but the top bird moves a short distance between the shutters while the bottom bird moves a longer distance between the hanging pinecones (or "carrots" as my two-year-old calls them). This clock stands out on a wall, but even so, its color scheme is muted enough to be complementary to the decor of a room.

This clock is incredibly silent. It doesn't cuckoo, and you cannot hear any ticking no matter what kind of surface it's held up against. It seems to be constructed well, so I think it's a good value for the price.

This is quite possibly the cutest clock ever made! I absolutely love it. The bird pendulum is very adorable. My four month old son loves to watch it tick. Every detail about this is perfect. It is expertly made with sturdy and quality material. I would recommend this clock to everyone!

She wanted a cuckoo clock with squirells on it. This is the only one I could find. It is a good quality clock at a reasonable price. It arrived on time and un-damaged. The only disapointment is the cuckoo bird does not pop out of the clock every hour. you have to open the doors manually to see a bird swing back and forth.
