The clock looks great. BUT - I've had 2 defective samples. Each had the same problem, i.e, the 3 hands were not properly placed on to the shaft, so that as time advances and the hands turn, they scrape over/bump into each other, eventually stopping. Can't recommend this item. As usual, Amazon is great about returns. I'll get a refund and buy another brand.

We needed to replace a kitchen wall clock but my hubby, who does all the cooking, did not want some ornate, hard to read clock while bustling around. This is a plain, practical, but surprisingly cute black and white clock that does simply the only thing it needs to do: keep time. It does not tick obnoxiously, is low glare, and, for an economically priced model, does not scream 'plastic'. We are very pleased with the quality, readability, and its no frills appearance. It makes every inch of its generous size worth the purchase!

Time seemed to be standing still. Turns out it was. Clock didn't keep time after changing the battery three times. Unfortunately, it was past Amazon's return period so I'm stuck. Thanks a lot Amazon.
