Too bad they used such a crummy clock mechanism in this great-looking clock. I love the style of the clock and it looks awesome in our family room. But the hands are really flimsy, thin metal that almost looks like plastic. Sometimes they even bump each other as they move around. It makes an otherwise stylish accessory look cheap. For the price, I would have expected something nicer.

Edited to say: I'm changing my review from 2 to 1 star because the clock stopped working completely after less than a month. New batteries didn't help. I wish I had bought a similar one I saw at Target--if it didn't work, at least it would have been easier to return!

We were hesitant to purchase the clock because it had a bad review, but we took a chance. It is a beautiful addition to our home and we love it. After first hanging the clock, it stopped keeping time, but it was only because the nut/bolt that holds the hands of the clock needed to be tightened before use. So, dont be afraid to buy this clock...just make sure you tighten up the bolt before you are convinced it doesn't work.

Absolutely love this clock, the colors totally match my newly decorated room, lots of compliments! As a previous reviewer stated, I did have to tighten the screw on the hands, I did that right away and have no problems. Would definately recommend to others!
