This clock is clever and neat for what it is: a cheaply made "brushed" aluminum looking clock. The metal is aluminum and slightly thicker than a soda can, it's also basically silent (a nice feature if you don't enjoy the "clock" noise). I would say this is a rare product that you get exactly what you pay for -- a neat looking metallic clock on the cheap. You won't be blow away by it but you'll like the look and appreciate the low cost.

What a great clock, I live in Mid-century modern home everyone comments on it and really love the metallic finish. It's perfect if you're going for that modern, yet funky or retro design.

Even though it looks like solid steel, it isn't. It's very light and very sharp looking. The ticker isn't too loud and seems to last long on one battery. Don't hesitate.
