Product Review

This wall clock is very unique. It features a working pendulum, glass dial, with Arabic numbers at every hour, which is mounted to a long curved-inward black piece of wood. Operates by a highly accurate quartz movement and one "AA" battery, not included. Guaranteed by a one year manufacturer's warranty.

Nice modern looking clock and keeps time well. The only thing is, even though the description lists it as black wood, it's in reality a very dark cherry wood. Previous reviewers mentioned the jerky movement of the pendulum, but if you adjust the clock on the wall so that it's perfectly straight, the jerky movement goes away.
PS. Also there is a thin protective plastic covering on the front round part of the pendulum. When it's removed that also decreases the jerky movements of the pendulum.

I bought this wall clock as a housewarming gift, for a young couple. They loved the contemporary design, and put it up right away. The wood on the back of the clock is black - not a dark walnut. The numbers are easily visible. It is a very nice simple design. I didn't get to see it with batteries in it, so I can't tell you how it operates. But, overall it was nice - the only complaint I have is I am not sure the quality of the clock is worth $60 - maybe more like $30-40 in my opinion.

The design of this clock is great. Goes well with our contemporary kitchen. I do have to agree with the other review concerning the pendulum - very jerky when swinging. Looks like the rod of the pendulum is swinging faster than the disk. Overall, the clock keeps great time and is a fantastic design. I am thinking of just removing the pendulum. Either way the clock will look great
