Gave it to my daughter for Christmas, she loves it! Nicely made, worth the price. Its a quiet clock, no ticking, I know some like to know if it ticks or not. Easy set up and packaged well also.

It is elegant. This photo is a good representation. The tail does wag pretty fast. The ticking is not too loud. It is a flat surface, although decorated to look embossed or carved. The size is perfect for an average wall.

I've got a friend we'll call "The Cat Gentleman." He's well-to-do, dabbles in real estate and publishing, and he's got eight or nine cats (at last count). This cat clock was a perfect fit as a Christmas gift. The clock is handsome (not at all cheapie-looking), the black cat matches two or three of his, and the tail wagging isn't even distracting to those who love such things. He gave it a prominent place in his office. However, it had to be exchanged recently when it stopped working. AMAZON took care of us (of course), but I couldn't figure out what the problem with the clock was until we unpacked the second clock and noted (again) that the battery enclosure (for two AAs) was rather difficult to address and the batteries had to be carefully (and I mean carefully) placed. Perhaps the first one wasn't "bad" after all. Did it have just battery-fitting problems? In any event, the second clock works just fine and our gift-recipient is more than delighted with it.
