For the price (10% of a Vitra-made original), this reproduction of the George Nelson Wall Clock is pretty good. The clock is a little bit larger than an original, the balls aren't quite as glossy, but the colors are fun and the build quality is acceptable. The white face is made of plastic and annoyingly has a "Cupecoy Design" logo painted on at the 6 o'clock position -- it's just barely visible in the product photo. We'll see how accurate the Chinese-made quartz movement is over time. If you're satisfied with reproductions of mid-century modern classics, this is worth its tiny price tag.

I have had this clock for over a year and like it so much that I am on here to buy a second one. I'll agree with the other review that it is delicate and I could imagine it would be a problem if you bent the hands somehow but I have it up on a wall so that hasn't been a problem. I had it downstairs originally but once I discovered it is silent, I moved it to the master bathroom. Now I want another one for downstairs.

After I saw all the Amazon reviews about this clock, I decided to buy it without knowing the size of this clock. I agree that the packaging could be improved & that the wooden balls aren't as shiny as the product photo. Still, my clock arrived quickly without damage. The clock adds a punch of color to our breakfast nook. I've been using the clock for several weeks & do notice that the clock is 5 minutes behind. I'm going to change the battery to see if it fixes the problem.

One suggestion for the seller - it would be helpful to specify the clock's diameter (14") in the product description section so customer can make an informed purchase decision.

3/28/2012: I changed my rating of this clock from 4 to 2 stars due to the fact that the clock slows down frequently after my repeated attempts to change batteries. I believe the culprit is the clock itself. I'm going to ask for an exchange.
