An attractive, faux-marble case has shiny, gold-tone accents that also embellish the dial and second hand. Large, serif Arabic numerals are easy-to-read, and for added style the clock hands are openwork wire. The piece runs efficiently on one AA battery, and includes a dial on the back for adjusting to Daylight Savings time. A sturdy, plastic face wipes clean and is easy-to-maintain.
