A confident and well-dressed timepiece, the Lexington clock handsomely combines geometrical shapes and subtle details. Inspired by old-time schoolhouse clocks, it has a substantial wooden casing with a warm, oak finish. The rectangular body and octagonal dial frame are softened by trim work and rounded, stepped edges. The dial itself is framed with a gold-tone bezel that matches the pendulum--visible through a gold-screened, glass door pane below. A soft white for easy readability, the face is marked with large Arabic numerals and simple hands. An outer track marks minutes. Equipped with accurate quartz movement, the clock features 4/4 Westminster-Whittington chimes for a lovely, authentic sound. Chimes include adjustable volume control for tailored settings, as well as optional nighttime shut-off.
