The Seth Thomas Maxfield wall clock blends a charming schoolhouse motif with excellent craftsmanship. Made from solid wood with a warm, low-gloss oak finish; the casing cleanly complements an oversized round dial and rectangular pendulum box. Its front covers are glass. A polished, gold-tone bezel frames the dial. The face has gold-tone accents, large yet delicate Roman numerals, and simple hands. Below, a gold-tone pendulum adds gentle motion to the design. Equipped with German-made movement for accuracy, the clock sounds 4/4 Westminster and Ave Maria chimes. Adjustable volume control and optional nighttime shut-off allow for tailored setting.
