This striking, Racine wall clock features an elaborate, traditional design that evokes timepieces of a bygone era. Equally at home in an office or bedroom, the clock has a shiny, beveled, silver-tone case, gold-tone accents, and easy-to-read Arabic numerals. Its classic appeal is enhanced by a remote, second hand that marks time on a small, inset dial at the 6 o’clock point. Numerals appear at the outer edge--offset from the bright, dial center by a narrow band of metallic gold. For added visual interest, the clock hands have an openwork wire design. The piece runs efficiently on two AA batteries, and includes a dial on the back for adjusting to Daylight Savings time. The sturdy, plastic lens wipes clean and is easy-to-maintain.
