I must be lucky, because my second hand isn't stuck, my thermometer works and I am having no issues. To be sure, this is a LARGE clock, about 1 foot diameter and about 2" deep. It's very imposing, and very....shiny. In fact you'd need to be superman to put the clock up on the wall without leaving finger prints, but after that you'll have no reason to touch it. And it's going to look very pretty on your wall as long as your furnishings aren't made up entirely of antiques. I am very impressed, and the sweeping movement is quite impressive, as is the retro styling.

For the price this clock is excellent.
Other reviewers say this the clock is hard to read because of glare, I don't have this issue at all. And my clock is right next to a floor lamp. Another reviewer said you can't read the clock in a low light situation, I don't have that problem either, unless it is completely dark; but the clock doesn't state that it is glow in the dark anyway.
The clock has a sleek design, love the modern look to it. It fits with the rest of my espresso colored living room set.

Clock is great, but the thermometer is stuck at 80 degrees and does not work. Concidering returning it, but I did not originally buy the clock to tell me the inside temperature, but a part of me thinks it should work.
