This review was written for the same clock but Unbeatable Sale had seemingly removed the item from amazon.com since I posted the original review. And then they appear to have relisted it, possibly so my somewhat negative review would not appear. Nice.
When this clock arrived it was damaged; the second hand had fallen off inside the clock and the neon holders were broken. Now ordinarily I would exclude such shipping damage info from an amazon review, as it's not really pertinent to the actual item. But since this was for an imminent birthday I decided to fix it rather than return it and this gave me an opportunity to see the construction and clock innards for myself.
Now as an object d'art item this clock looks okay - it's big and the silver chrome plastic outer looks metallic although it's not. The two outer powered neon tubes (inside is white, outside is red) are bright and uniform and the print on the USMC logo is clear. The clock itself is standard fare for...Read more

The clock itself is standard fare for low priced clocks - a single AA battery powers it and it's the kind of small clock mechanism you could buy for $5 at any craft store. I'm sure it'll keep time for years though.
